Barbiturate urine drug test is a
one-step, lateral flow test designed to detect
barbiturates in human urine at a cut-off level of 200
ng/ml. Barbiturates are central nervous system
depressants and are used as hypnotic sedatives.
Barbiturates are detectable in human urine for up to 30
days for chronic users and 30-76 hours for casual users.
The Barbiturate urine drug test provides qualitative
screening results and is for use by healthcare
professionals only. A more specific alternate chemical
method must be used in order to obtain a confirmed
analytical result. The test is available in cassette and
dip strip formats, with the option of being included in
the multi-drug screen test. |
