| Cocaine |
| Cocaine urine drug test is a
rapid, lateral flow diagnostic test intended to evaluate
the usage of cocaine in human urine at a cut-off level
of 300 ng/ml. Cocaine is a nervous system stimulant that
may appear in the urine for only a few hours after use;
therefore, the Cocaine urine drug test is designed to
detect benzoylecgonine, a hydrolytic degradation product
of cocaine, which may be detectable in urine for over
two days after the use of cocaine. The test is for
healthcare professional use only and provides only a
qualitative screening test result. A more specific
alternate chemical method must be used in order to
obtain a confirmed analytical result. The test is
available in cassette and dip strip formats, with the
option of being included in the multi-drug screen test. |
