|
Phencyclidine urine drug test is a
rapid, lateral flow diagnostic test intended to detect
Phencyclidine (PCP) in human urine at a cut-off level of
25 ng/ml. Phencyclidine is a popular drug of abuse and
is self-administered either by smoking, nasal
insufflation, intravenous injection or oral ingestion.
After administered, PCP can be detectable in human urine
for 2-5 days for casual use and for 14-30 days for
chronic use. The Phencyclidine urine drug test provides
qualitative screening results and is for use by
healthcare professionals only. A more specific alternate
chemical method must be used in order to obtain a
confirmed analytical result. The test is available in
cassette and dip strip formats, with the option of being
included in the multi-drug screen test. |
